A Fresh Perspective
The King List
Eight kings. 241,200 years.
What if the record means what it says?
The Sumerian King List records eight rulers before the Flood and assigns them reigns totaling 241,200 years. Most readers encounter those numbers as myth, exaggeration, or symbolism.
D.H. Trout starts somewhere else: take the record seriously for a moment and follow where that possibility leads.
The King List is historical science fiction built around one of humanity’s oldest and strangest surviving records—the first book in the D.H. Trout trilogy.
